Provenance

Built in WA, and honest about what isn't

Every Furniture Bazaar headboard, standard base and drawer base in this builder is made in Western Australia. That is the upholstered heart of your bed: the part you see, sit against and live with every day.

Three of the five mattress ranges are WA-made too: Physio Medic Impulse, Evolution and Body Contour. The DreamFlex adjustable frames, and the SerenityRest and TranquilityRest mattresses, are not described as locally made. We would rather tell you that plainly than blur it.

How it works

Seven decisions, one bed

The configurator walks you through the same order a showroom consultant would. Each step offers the options listed for the choices before it. Availability still varies by size, fabric stock and model, so Furniture Bazaar confirms every configuration before it is ordered.

  1. Size

Single through Super King. Your size filters everything that follows.

  2. Headboard

Five profiles, from tailored and quiet to full statement. Add wings where eligible.

  3. Base

A standard foundation, or storage with one to four drawers in a layout you pick.

  4. Fabric

One colour across headboard and base. This is where your 3D preview appears.

  5. Adjustable frame

Optional. Compare the four DreamFlex models side by side.

  6. Mattress

Optional. Five ranges; non-compatible ones step aside if you chose a frame.

  7. Finalise

Review every line with indicative pricing, then share or send it for a quote.

01Size

Six sizes, with options that vary by size

Start with the size of your room and mattress. Single, King Single, Double, Queen, King and Super King are all in the builder.

Some options are size-specific. Three- and four-drawer and East West bases start at Double, and several DreamFlex models and mattresses are offered in selected sizes only. The configurator greys out options that aren't listed for your size, and the final specification is confirmed with the showroom.

  • Single92 × 188 cm
  • King Single107 × 203 cm
  • Double138 × 188 cm
  • Queen153 × 203 cm
  • King183 × 203 cm
  • Super King203 × 203 cm

Nominal mattress dimensions: width × length. Confirm dimensions for your selected mattress.

02Headboard

Five headboards, one height, very different moods

All five stand 1430mm overall and are made in WA. Where they differ is character: the Nice keeps things understated, the Calais adds soft panel detail, and the Toulouse, Cannes and Marseille step up to full feature pieces.

Eligible headboards can take side wings ($175), which wrap the bed visually and are upholstered to match.

  • Nice upholstered headboard, studio photo

    Nice

A clean, tailored upholstered headboard with a versatile, understated profile.

    From $220

  • Calais upholstered headboard, studio photo

    Calais

A softly detailed upholstered design that adds more visual structure than the Nice.

    From $281

  • Toulouse upholstered headboard, studio photo

    Toulouse

A statement headboard with pronounced upholstered shaping and a more luxurious presence.

    From $314

  • Cannes upholstered headboard, studio photo

    Cannes

A bold upholstered feature headboard designed to give the bed a broader architectural feel.

    From $336

  • Marseille upholstered headboard, studio photo

    Marseille

The most premium statement profile in the range, with substantial upholstered detailing.

    From $380

03Base

A clean foundation, or storage laid out your way

Both base families are made in WA and upholstered in the same fabric as your headboard.

Standard bases give a traditional bed height with no storage. Drawer bases come with one, two, three or four drawers, plus East West versions for larger beds. After you pick a drawer count, you choose a layout from the positions offered for your size, such as both sides or the foot end, and the showroom confirms the final arrangement.

Planning a DreamFlex frame instead? You can skip the base entirely.

04Fabric

Three collections. One colour, carried across the whole bed.

Your fabric choice covers the headboard, wings, base and, if you add the upgrade, an eligible adjustable frame. Screens can't show texture or exact tone, so treat the swatches as a starting point and ask to see a physical sample.

  • Bermuda

    Profile Fabrics · 14 colours

A plain, hard-wearing polyester weave rated for heavy commercial use. The dependable everyday choice.

  • Panache

    Profile Fabrics · 23 colours

A soft polyester velour with depth and sheen. The widest colour range, from pale neutrals to saturated tones.

  • Batiste

    Warwick · 4 colours

A fine, matte woven texture with easy-clean finishing. Being phased out by Warwick, so confirm stock before ordering.

05Adjustable frame · optional

Four DreamFlex frames, compared honestly

Each step up adds features rather than replacing them, with the 400 taking a different direction toward individual neck and lumbar control. Brochure details that aren't confirmed, such as massage on the 400, are flagged rather than assumed.

DreamFlex frames are not Australian made. On eligible models you can add a matching upholstery upgrade so the frame wears your chosen fabric.

A 3D preview, and your bed in your own room

Once you reach the fabric step, your bed appears as a 3D model in your chosen colour. Rotate it, switch between headboard and base, and open drawers to check the layout.

AR support depends on your device and browser, and some phones ask for an extra tap before it starts. If AR isn't available, the 3D preview still works.

  1. 3D preview

Reflects your chosen size, headboard, base, wings and fabric; it is an indicative visual, not an exact product photo.

  2. View in your room

On supported phones and tablets, place the bed at scale in your bedroom using augmented reality.

  3. Phone QR handoff

Designing on a computer? Scan the QR code and the same design opens on your phone, ready for AR.

  4. Saved as you go

Your selections stay on this device, and a share link lets someone else see exactly what you chose.

A running total, not a checkout

Prices update as you choose, so you can weigh a wing or an extra drawer against your budget. They are indicative only, not a checkout or a guaranteed quote. Furniture Bazaar confirms availability, fabric stock and final pricing before anything is ordered.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Which parts of the bed are made in Western Australia?

Furniture Bazaar headboards, standard bases and drawer bases are made in Western Australia. The Physio Medic Impulse, Evolution and Body Contour mattresses are also WA-made. DreamFlex adjustable frames, SerenityRest and TranquilityRest mattresses are not described as locally made.

What bed sizes can I choose?

The configurator covers Single, King Single, Double, Queen, King and Super King. Not every base, frame or mattress is offered in every size, so the configurator only offers the options listed for the size you have chosen. Final availability is confirmed by Furniture Bazaar before ordering.

Can I add wings to my headboard?

Side wings can be added to eligible headboards. When a headboard supports wings, the option appears on the headboard step with its price, and it is upholstered in the same fabric as the rest of the bed.

Which fabrics are available?

You can choose from three upholstery collections: Bermuda and Panache from Profile Fabrics, and Batiste from Warwick. Batiste is being phased out by Warwick, so remaining colours should be confirmed before ordering. Screen colours vary, so we recommend viewing a physical sample.

How do the storage drawer bases work?

Drawer bases are available with one to four drawers, plus East West versions for larger beds. For each drawer count you choose a drawer layout from the arrangements available for your bed size, and the final layout is confirmed with the showroom.

Are DreamFlex adjustable frames Australian made?

No. DreamFlex adjustable frames are not presented as Australian made. There are four models, the DreamFlex 100, 200, 300 and 400, and the configurator lets you compare their features side by side before choosing one.

Which mattresses work with an adjustable frame?

Physio Medic Impulse (Firm, Medium and Plush), Evolution and Body Contour are compatible with DreamFlex adjustable frames. SerenityRest and TranquilityRest are not suitable for adjustable frames, so they are unavailable while an adjustable frame is selected.

Can my adjustable frame match my upholstery?

On eligible DreamFlex models you can add a matching upholstery upgrade, which replaces the standard charcoal cover with the same fabric chosen for your headboard and base.

How does the 3D preview and View in your room feature work?

From the fabric step the configurator shows a 3D preview of your bed. On supported phones and tablets, View in your room places the model in your space using augmented reality. On a desktop you can scan a QR code to open the same design on your phone. AR depends on your device and browser, and some phones need an extra tap to start it.

Is the price shown in the configurator final?

No. Prices in the configurator are indicative and are not a checkout or a guaranteed quote. Availability, fabric stock and final pricing are confirmed by Furniture Bazaar before your order is placed.
